[lightweight-accordion title=”Day 1 Cusco City Tour” accordion_open=true]

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup and a short walk to Cusco’s main square, Plaza de Armas. We’ll start with a guided visit to the stunning Cusco Cathedral, home to incredible colonial art and history.

From there, we’ll walk down Loreto Street, an ancient Inca pathway, leading us to Qorikancha, the Temple of the Sun—one of the most important spiritual centers of the Inca Empire.

Next, we’ll hop on our tourist transport and head to the impressive Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park, famous for its massive stone walls and breathtaking views of Cusco.

The tour continues with visits to:

  • Q’enqo, a sacred site with intricate carvings and underground chambers.
  • Puka Pukara, an ancient military outpost.
  • Tambomachay, known as the “Inca Baths” for its sophisticated water channels.

We’ll finish the tour back in Cusco, where you’ll have the evening free to explore the city at your own pace.

[lightweight-accordion title=”Day 2 VIP Sacred Valley & Train to Aguas Calientes”]

Today, we’ll explore some of the Sacred Valley’s most fascinating sites before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. Along the way, enjoy stunning landscapes, Andean culture, and a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the valley.

Places we’ll visit:

  • Chinchero: This charming Andean village, home to skilled weavers, showcases Inca ruins, colonial influences, and a fascinating textile workshop where locals demonstrate traditional weaving techniques using natural dyes.
  • Moray: A unique Inca agricultural laboratory with circular terraces designed to experiment with different microclimates for farming.
  • Maras Salt Mines: A breathtaking network of over 3,000 salt pools, harvested since pre-Inca times. Here, you can see how locals still extract pink and medicinal salts.
  • Ollantaytambo: Known as the “Living Inca City,” this site features an impressive archaeological complex with massive stone terraces and temples, offering insight into Inca engineering.

After our visit to Ollantaytambo, we’ll board the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our staff and taken to your hotel. In the evening, your guide will provide a briefing about the next day’s Machu Picchu experience.
