Commitment Against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Tourism
At Qatawi Tours, we take a firm stand against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) in the tourism sector. As part of our commitment to the ESNNA Code of Conduct, we work to protect the rights of children and adolescents, promoting responsible and safe tourism for everyone.
1. Principles and Commitment
As a responsible company, Qatawi Tours Peru adheres to the following fundamental principles:
Zero tolerance for any form of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism.
Promotion of awareness among our staff, clients, and business partners regarding the issue of ESNNA.
Immediate reporting of any suspicious situation related to child exploitation.
Strict compliance with Peruvian and international laws on child protection.
2. Prevention and Control Measures
To ensure a safe and exploitation-free environment, we implement the following actions:
a) Training and Awareness
Continuous training for our team on the risks and consequences of ESNNA.
Inclusion of this topic in our internal policies and code of conduct for employees and guides.
b) Policies in Our Services
Explicit prohibition of any activity involving the exploitation of minors.
No promotion or association with establishments or activities that facilitate child exploitation.
Control and verification of travelers’ documentation in case of accommodations or tours involving minors.
c) Reporting and Cooperation with Authorities
Referral of complaints to the relevant authorities upon detecting any irregularities.
Cooperation with governmental organizations and NGOs working on child protection.
Contact with the Peruvian National Police and the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations to report any suspicious cases.
3. Responsibility of Our Clients and Partners
Qatawi Tours Peru requests its clients and business partners to:
Respect and comply with our ESNNA Code of Conduct.
Report any signs of child exploitation observed during their trip.
Not participate in or encourage activities that violate the rights of children and adolescents.
4. Contact and Reporting Channel

Peruvian National Police (105) – To report cases of abuse or exploitation.
Ombudsman’s Office – Assistance for cases involving violations of rights.
