Humantay Lake Tour: Full-Day Trekking Experience with Qatawi Tours Perú

• The excursion begins with the pick up from the hotel at 4:30 AM and with our tourist transport we will go to the town of Mollepata, 2 hours of trip.
• In Mollepata we will have a buffet breakfast and then continue the trip in the unit.
• The second part of the trip is by trail for another hour to Soraypampa, located at 3900 meters above sea level (12795 feet), where the hike begins.
• After receiving the indications from our professional guide, we start walking.
• The hiking distance is 4 kilometers with a duration of 1 hour and a half.
• The first part is gentle and gradually begins the ascent to the lagoon.
• (You also have the option of renting horses just for the ascent for an additional cost of S/. 90.00 soles or USD $ 25.00).
• Once you arrive at the Humantay lagoon, you will have flexible time to take pictures and then explanations from the guide.
• The way back is very gentle downhill and the last part is flat until the parking of the cars.
• One hour drive back to Mollepata for lunch.
• Finally, the trip to Cusco will be 2 hours and we will arrive approximately at 5:00 PM.
